Why Arianna Thinks ‘Killing It’ Has No Place In Corporate America
“Lean In” author Sheryl Sandberg recently took on a new crusade to ban using the word “bossy” to describe an ambitious woman who wants to be a leader. But that’s not the only terminology that should be excised from offices everywhere.
During a chat with HuffPost Live’s Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani about her new book, “Thrive,” Arianna Huffington revealed the phrase she wants to ban from professional settings: saying that someone who is doing a great job is “killing it.”
“The language of war that is introduced into everyday corporate America is just totally detrimental,” Huffington said. “Maybe we should change it to, ‘Hey, she’s nurturing it,’ as opposed to ‘killing it.'”

Coerced sex not uncommon for young men, teenage boys, study finds
A large proportion of teenage boys and college men report having been coerced into sex or sexual behavior, according to research. A total of 43 percent of high school boys and young college men reported they had an unwanted sexual experience and of those, 95 percent said a female acquaintance was the aggressor, according to the study.
