Kids Teach Us How To Be Happy In The Most Adorable Way Possible (VIDEO)
These four kids have discovered the secret to happiness … and they agreed to share their knowledge with us.

They know what to do when you’re happy and you know it, how to turn a frown upside down and the truth behind the saying, “A laugh a day keeps the doctor away.”

When asked if life is better when you smile, they all confidently responded “YES!” One girl even said, “Yes, because it brings joy to the world.”

But they aren’t only smart, they’re also pretty funny.

One kid told a joke: “What’s a bird’s favorite paper?”

Explorer Mike Horn: Your Real Investment In Life Is Not Your House Or Your Car
You don’t have to be an extreme adventurer to live life to the fullest.

That’s the message world renowned explorer Mike Horn shared with HuffPost Live’s Josh Zepps during a conversation about his upcoming expeditions and his key to happiness.

Spending two years alone circumnavigating the Arctic, months swimming and river-boarding the full length of the Amazon River and trekking to the North Pole in complete darkness is no easy feat. Less adventurous types may wonder how happiness fits into that lifestyle.

“I was born with a talent to be an explorer,” Horn shared. “I love what I do. I get out of that tent at minus 50 [degrees], or minus 60, or minus 70, and I feel that I’m going somewhere where I’ve never been, I’m discovering things that I’ve ever seen before, and everything enriches me.”

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

Even though exploration is Horn’s passion, it’s not always smooth sailing.

“There are days that aren’t as easy as other days. Those days are basically the days when that you say, ‘Listen, I don’t want to be here,’ but then, a human being is never really happy with where he is, or what he does. We always think the grass is greener on the other side,” he said.

After all his extensive explorations across the globe over the past two decades, Horn has come to some important conclusions about material things.

“The real investment in life is not so much in the house you have, or the car. Your real investment is what you carry in the heart, and if you carry that passion for anything that you do, then nothing can really stop you. You enjoy the greater moments of everything,” he said.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
